Project Tessie

Tessie is a build and development project for a tracked ROV that can explore thousands of feet deep, with 4k video capabilities and fiber optics.

Phase 1 Stretch Goal: $100,000

Development Goals

  • Deepwater capable at 2000+ foot depths
  • Fiber optic data and video transmission
  • 4k camera  with additional navigational cameras
  • Scientific sensors for water temperature, depth, compass heading, pressure, salinity and more

Project Leviathan

Leviathan is a build and development project for an ROV launch watercraft that can drop and recover the Tessie ROV.

Phase 1 Stretch Goal: $100,000

Development Goals

  • ROV launch and recovery craft with winch for lowering and raising ROV
  • Highly portable and easy to transport via trailer
  • ROV control console for recording video, piloting the ROV, and livestreaming exploration activities

BigFin is a free and open source ROV video display and navigation program that connects to your ROV data and video feeds. Beta coming soon.
